Visited this arena for a hockey game and it is very clear that it isn’t designed for NHL viewing. Seats in many spots in the upper level have restricted views of the ends of the ice (meaning you can’t see the goal). The food and drink throughout the stadium are about what you would expect for stadium food, but the bottom concourse and suite levels are better if you are looking for more than your standard options. The seats are pretty comfortable throughout the stadium, and would definitely recommend for an NBA game.

Went for an Islanders game. Beautiful arena. We had great seats and the atmosphere was great. Plenty of concession stands so lines aren't huge. Expect expensive stadium prices for food/drink.

So impressed by how clean it was! Great facility for taking in a basketball game. Good food and drink options, and tough to beat the proximity to the subway.

You can never have too many good burger spots in a city — no matter how big. 67 Burger is another one for your list. Your next burger is literally down the block from Barclay’s Center.

Reminds me of a cantina I frequent. Sitting at a bar made out of clay might at first seem incredibly impractical, until you realize you never need a coaster and the barstools conform to your butt.

There are a lot of dining options at the Barclays Center. Here are our 5 favorites: L&B Spumoni Gardens, Calexico, Brooklyn Bangers & Dogs, Habana Outpost, and Fatty Cue BBQ.

Home of BK Nets. House Jay-Z built. Free Wi-Fi, no password. Do not sit in Level 200's; vertigo inducing, no leg room, hold on to hand rail during descent. Otherwise, GREAT venue. Buy level 1-26.

If your in the mood for Chicken & Waffles check out Buttermilk Channel in Brooklyn. Even Jay Z recommends it, and he knows Brooklyn!

Jay-Z must be feeding them something real good, because I don't remember the last time I experienced such superb customer service. True Brooklyn hospitality all-around. Just a top-notch arena period.

Try the Brooklyn Brisket Banger on a tasty pretzel roll from Brooklyn Bangers and Dogs (Main Concourse/Upper Pavilion). Served with hand crafted mustardy relish and sausages, it really hits the spot!

Concert Ticket Agency

Avoid the long wait out front, use the northeast entrance at the corner of Atlantic Avenue & Fort Greene Place with much shorter lines.

Great place to see a basketball game or a concert. Just like every other event space of this nature the prices are very high for everything. The food is decent. You can get a good view from pretty much any seat. The sound is amazing. I recommend this for a concert or a game. Getting to the Barclay Center is pretty easy from anywhere in NYC. I had access to the VIP area which was pretty cool.

Nice arena. Super easy to get to and if find local parking most of it's free. Event staff was friendly and courteous. But watch out super pricey inside of the arena. Alcohol and food is priced very high.

Venue itself is cool. Easy to navigate. Pretty too look at and clean. Seats are comfy enough, too. Food prices are ridiculously high. I've purchased food and just settled with using the water fountsin for my beverage. They need to lower that. The concession stand employees were not very attentive last time I went. Most of the staff is friendly but if you want a quick pic of yourself or with your family, SOME ushers might give you flack. Most tell you its to time to clear out and let you take a flick or two but I and others have had occasions where they got a little feisty. I've worked in guest relations and that's a no-no, but it's never gotten to the point that I got mad.

Been there for basketball and hockey games. It's definitely not set up for hockey, the scoreboard does not line up with the center line. Also seen concerts at the venue which did produce great sound. The center would be better if there was more space, but being in Brooklyn I understand it is limited. Getting to this venue via public transportation is very convenient.

I went to attend an WWE event, with my kids. It was a Monday Night Raw Live. When we arrived there at the Barclays Center, it was as simple as 123, I gave them our tickets, we went straight in and got our food, our seats were easy to find and there were no long lines to wait on. We had a blast. It was great fun. We felt very safe and secured. Ive recently ordered tickets to a concert for my daughter, coming up soon. The Barclays Center is a Fantastic Establishment.
